ABSTRACT
Computer facilities have been used in landscape architecture for three main purposes: Landscape Planning studies, landscape design studies, human resources development and education studies. Landscape planner studies in two dimensions using natural, cultural, social and economical data and analyses. GIS (Geographic Information System) has an active role in attaining rapid and appropriate data in planning, benefiting from the geographical database serving across the global scale, making correct and rationalist decisions by avoiding unnecessery repetition of data and for conrol and management during and after the designing process.
